In Japan, we decorate Kagamimochi on New Year’s Day. Kagamimochi is Japanese traditional new year decoration and a place where God spends his time on New Year’s Day.
We celebrate the New Year with God and wish our good luck for the whole year. After God leave, we eat mochi to spend the year in good health.By the way, cutting mochi is very tough!! It is so hard!!!
