Due to the current situation with coronavirus, lots of fireworks display were cancelled. But this year, festivals and fireworks displays were held for the first time in three years.
<Defference between Japanese hanabi and foreign fireworks>
Foreign fireworks are cylindrical shapes and one color of gunpowder is pressed by machine, so no color change.
Japanese hanabi is circle, and crack powder in the center of the sphere flies stars in all directions. It’s like colorful flowers being opened. The flowers fireballs made by fireworks manufacturers over a year are launched into summer night sky.
